Can I attend both DAY and OVERNIGHT VIP Soccer Camps?
Of course! If you are interested in both camps, please register separately for each so that we can include you on both our rosters.
What is included in the VIP DAY Camp Fees?
All camp costs are covered by your DAY Camp fees. Additionally, each participant will receive a Nike Dri-Fit camp shirt before they depart campus. Lunch is NOT included in day camp fees.
What happens if the camp is canceled due to weather?
We will make every effort to hold the camp as scheduled. However, if weather conditions prohibit a successful VIP Camp, you have three options:
1)Transfer your registration to a later VIP Day Camp or VIP Summer Camp, free of charge.
2)Request a refund by check, less the $25 processing fee.
3)Donate your camp fee to Valparaiso University Men’s Soccer! : )
Can I pay by check?
YES. Please follow these steps:
1)Visit the VIP Forms Tab on the left hand side of the Home Page.
2)Fill out Registration Form and Medical Liability Form in full.

I am a high school graduate enrolled in college, can I enroll in the VIP camps?
Yes, please contact the coaching staff for more details.
I am coming in the night before the DAY camp, are there hotel recommendations?
Yes, we can provide you a list of host hotels which can offer you the best lodging rates in town. Most local hotels are no more than 5 minutes from campus and no more than 10 minutes from downtown Valparaiso. Please contact VIP Camp Diretor, Jeff Oleck, for our list of recommended hotels.
I don't know the town of Valparaiso very well, where can I get lunch?
Since lunch is not provided in the VIP Day Camp fees, each participant is responsible for buying or bringing their own meal. Upon check-in, we will be happy to provide you with a list of nearby restaurants and our recommended picks. If you have questions prior to check-in, please contact VIP Camp Director, Jeff Oleck.
Will athletic trainers be available during camp?
Yes, there will be a certified athletic trainer at every field session. Any injuries or treatment needs should be reported to the athletic trainer on or before the first field session.
What is the cancellation policy?
Camp tuition less a $25 processing fee will be returned if written notification of cancellation occurs prior to the following dates. Exceptions are only made in extenuating circumstances.

2013 Valpo Summer VIP Camp (June 11-12, 2013)
Is lodging provided as part of the two-day VIP Summer Camp??
The 2013 Summer Camp does not provide lodging or accommodations to participants as part of the camp fees. Hotel reservations are the responsibility of the camper and his family. Please see the "VIP Summer Camp" page for a list of recommended hotels.
What do I need to bring?
Campers should bring athletic apparel in which they are comfortable to play. Shin guards and proper footwear are required. Please note that field sessions will be held on Brown Field which is a synthetic turf playing surface. Any indoor sessions will be held on Homer Drew Court which is a hardwood playing surface.
Who will be on staff at the camp?
The staff will include all current VU men’s soccer staff (individual bios can be found on the VIP Staff pages) as well as possible other collegiate head or assistant coaches. Past staff members have included: Chad Riley (Dartmouth), Cailean Bailey (Yale University), Philip Ruskin (Cal Poly University), Donnie Hathorn (Niagara University), David Stroud (St. Joseph’s College), Darren Gallagher (Ancilla College), Rich Nassif (Benedictine College).
Current VU men’s soccer players will also provide assistance throughout the camp and are accessible to the participants every day.

Can I purchase additional VU men’s soccer gear?
YES! At the beginning and end of each camp, the VIP Store will be selling various VU men’s soccer apparel and footwear. Cash or checks only, please.
Where are the sessions held in case of inclement weather?
Camp will continue in the rain. However, if lightning, thunder, or excessive heat make field conditions unplayable – we will move the camp into our indoor arena. The athletic training staff, coaching staff, and facility management will make decisions which uphold the safety and enjoyment of our participants.
